Level 2 HACCP - PRIMARY COURSE IN FOOD HYGIENE

This course is designed by the Environmental Health Association of Ireland (EHAI) to give workers in the Food Industry the knowledge of the process needed to maintain food safety in the workplace and comply with EU regulation 852/2004.

This course is for those
  ·      All those working in the Food Industry in Ireland
  ·      With no previous experience/HACCP courses

Course Content:
·           Food Hazards; Chemical, Physical & Biological Hazards
·           Cross contamination and how to prevent it
·           High and low risk activities
·           Monitoring Food Temperatures
·           Food Safety Records & Food Traceability
·           Pest Control & Waste management
·           Dealing with Food at risk from unhygienic practices
·           Co-operating with enforcement officers
·           Checking deliveries
·           Food Sampling & Testing
·           HACCP
 

Upon completion of this HACCP Level 2 training course participants will have the skills to implement food safety prodecures:
·           Food hygiene awareness
·           Food delivery
·           Food storage
·           Food preparation, cooking and hot holding
·           Personal hygiene and good hygiene practices
·           Pest control
·           Cleaning awareness
·           HACCP awareness and monitoring requirements
